 FORGOTTEN TREASURES EQUINE RESCUE RESCUE REHABILITATION RETIREMENT REHOME Our Mission: To promote rescue, rehabilitation, retirement, and to put an end to horse slaughter. Also to endorse responsible ownership and awareness to all on the plight of the equine. This is a private rescue that was founded out of a pure love for horses and a firm belief that no life should be forgotten
Forgotten Treasures Equine Rescue was started in November 2007. I used to foster for a local rescue and knew I just had to do more. FTER was founded out of a pure love for horses and a firm belief that no life should be forgotten. We are dedicated to supporting and defending ALL abused, neglected, unwanted, or abandoned horses of all breeds.  FTER is having their winter hay drive going on now. It will take $2700 to feed the four horses in our care through till next spring. $1000 have already been raised so far, we still need $1700 to buy the remaining hay for these wonderful horses. We have until 9/13/08 or the hay prices will go up another $1 a bale. Please consider a donation if you can. Every amount is very much appreciated, no amount is too small. Sending just a little each month helps with vetting, wormers, grain or feet trimmings that these wonderful horses needs each month. With each months donation you will receive a update on how that horse is doing and a current picture. Please consider being a horse angel if you can. If you are close enough to us you can even come for a visit, just call and set up a time to come out. Don't forget the carrots!!!!

| IMPORTANT ISSUES AND HOT TOPICS Forgotten Treasures Open House Announcement Sunday September 28th, 1-4pm Please come meet the wonderful horses that live here.This is a great way to see what FTER is all about and meet the people who dedicate their time and donations for the horses. We will be firing up the grill and making hotdogs and hamburgers so if you would like to contribute a dish or dessert that would be great. Please call or email me to RSVP by 9/5/08.
