Moonie is finally ready to be gelded, it is scheduled for 3/28/08. Updates to follow. Cancelled by vet, they had an emergency. Will reschedule soon...

Moonie is reschedule for 4/15/08 to be gelded. Fingers crossed it can be done this time, he really wants to get out in the big field with all the girls and play.... sorry boy you still have 3 weeks after it is done so we don't have any accidents....

We now have a gelding, and although Moonie does not like me very much right now he will be a much better horse in the end. He did so well during and after the procedure. He hardly has any drainage or swelling at all, but that may change over the next few days I'm sure. I will be keeping a close eye on him to make sure everything heals well. I stayed up with him till 1:30am this morning before I felt comfortable enough to go to bed. I will get some new pics after he is feeling better.

12/4/07 SEARA HAD HER SECOND EQUINE CHIROPRACTIC VISIT LAST NIGHT. SHE DID GREAT, IT IS SO NICE TO SEE HER PAIN FREE, HER ATTITUDE HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED.. SHE HAD 3 PLACES ADJUSTED IN HER NECK AND HER BACK RIGHT PELVIC AREA WAS NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY WHICH WAS CAUSING HER TO BE OFF WHEN SHE WALKED AND YOU COULDN'T PICK UP HER BACK LEG WITHOUT HER TRYING TO KICK OUT. LINDA(EQUINE CHIROPRACTOR) IS CONVINCED SHE WAS IN A KICKING BATTLE WITH ANOTHER HORSE AND DID NOT WIN...I AM SO GLAD WE TOOK THIS CHANCE WITH HER AND FOUND LINDA, SHE IS A GOD SEND..I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE, HER NAME AND NUMBER ARE LISTED ON MY SPONSORS PAGE IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. SHE TREATS ALL TYPES OF INJURIES ON ALL KINDS OF ANIMALS JUST NOT HORSES..
3/26/08 Seara has her first of six more chiro treatments on the back right hip area, she came up very sore after we had someone professionally evaluate her riding abilities. It was found she still is not completely ready and the back right hip area is still very sore. I will keep everyone updated on her progress as we go. I am very confident that Linda(equine chiropractor) can get her pain free again. 4/8/08
Seara is doing so well with her treatments. I am confident now that she will make someone a really nice riding horse. The change in her attitude and composure is amazing since she first started her treatments. She is a really nice horse and I am glad that she has been given this chance.
